LONDON HUMANIST CHOIR
Laurel has conducted the country's only exclusively secular choir since 2012, and build it up into one of the leading choirs in London, performing at HumanistsUK events, the Panto Horse Race 2019, raising money for charity and touring to Edinburgh Free Fringe each year.
"Laurel has taken the London Humanist Choir to new musical heights, while providing a fund and engaging experience for our community choir. Her creative rehearsal techniques allow her to continuously challenge us in a positive atmosphere. "

ROYAL OPERA HOUSE THURROCK COMMUNITY CHORUS
Laurel was Apprentice Conductor to the Chorus in 2019, performing with them At the Royal Opera House, and the Southbank Centre and Tilbury Docks. The Chorus were an incredible group to work with, performing everything staged, in its original language and from memory, and Jeremy Haneman was truly inspirational to work under.
Laurel runs choirs that rehearsals at offices at lunchtimes and after work. She often combines her three office choirs and curates joint choir festivals (Kings Chapel 2019, Springer Nature 2020) for them to perform to eachother.
Under Music in Offices she led choirs for Hearst Magazines, Macquarie, BACB and SEI, and often deputised for companies such as Debenhams, The Telegraph and led workshops for Knight Frank.
“Laurel is incredibly encouraging and supportive as our MD. She’s always super positive which makes singing in the choir such a great time! She expects and gets a good standard from us. As a result I want to join another choir as well to sing more often. Thanks Laurel “
